All Atomic Aquatics masks are generally supplied with special Ultra-Clear lenses. They have exceptional clarity, light transmission, and no discoloration. The improvement with "ARC technology" coated glass lenses that by preventing further reflection on the surface and thus allow more light into the Maskeninnere. We have introduced Ultra-Clear Glass in the scuba diving industry because we Billiggläser with the green color, as they do not feel used by all other producers as acceptable.
What is ARC Glass Technology?
Anti-reflection coating or "ARC" is a complex metal oxide coating of the Ultra-Clear lenses. By reducing the reflectivity of the inner and outer surface of the glass occurs more light into the Maskeninnere.
Why do you need ARC technology lenses?
Between 4 to 12% of the light is the standard "green glass, as it reflects our competitors use, or lost. ARC technology is particularly important under water, where available light much more than at the surface is absorbed.
